WORK EXPERIENCE
ANRITSU, Richardson, TX (Protocol Library Intern) – Aug 2015 to Dec 2015
Testing protocol test libraries against the latest mobile devices using Anritsu developed test systems (Rapid Test Designer) and external software products/applications
Responsible for finding the applicability of tests, defining scope, configuring the system/device, defining the pass/fail criteria based on T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T tests
Provided support to debug the test cases on RTD in technologies like LTE and LTE-A layers protocol (RRC, NAS, MAC, physical) functionality for IMS – VoLTE and Carrier Aggregation testing
Assisted support team with software & firmware upgrades, running and validating tests and debugging platform issues
Helped debug and investigate issues that arise in development and maintenance releases, by analyzing errors from Anritsu Protocol Analyzer logs/ Wireshark traces and tracking defects using bug reporting system JIRA PROJECTS
Protocol Analysis using Wireshark
Analyzed Packet flow of Ethernet, ARP, IP, TCP, DHCP and HTTP using Wireshark. Explained protocol operation in respective layer of OSI Model. Troubleshoot issues related to DHCP and DNS
Designed Network Architecture
Configured router and switches with base configuration. End-to-End connectivity using routing protocol such as OSPF and EIGRP has been accomplished. Captured and analyzed the packet flow using Wireshark to troubleshoot connectivity issues
LTE Advanced to 5G
LTE Advanced is the next major step in the evolution of our LTE networks. The functionalities introduced in LTE- Advanced are Carrier Aggregation, enhanced use of multi-antenna techniques (MIMO) and support for Relay Nodes
(RN). We can get to see different enhancements in LTE advanced to 5G and also variations from Release 10 to 12
Designed MPLS L3 VPN for Service Provider
Built an Intra region topology using BGP and OSPF for PE-CE relationship. Implemented the concepts of RD, RT, MP- BGP on the Service Provider core network
Network Security using IOS Firewall
This project deals with creating a firewall topology and configuring the firewall and routers. By blocking and unblocking the desired ports, the functionality of switch to router using IP address is checked. Created a virtual PC in our system and verified between the two. For the data to be secured, handshake method is involved at the time of private zone
Global Robot using GSM Technology
The project is to design the wireless controlled global robot using GSM communication. It consists of two sections one is mobile unit and robot section. The user can control the robot directions and stop by passing simple message from his mobile. The GSM modem placed at the robot section receive the message and according to the command received by the GSM modem the robot is moved
