Obstetrics and Gynecology Exposure:

Managed outdoor patient department(OPD)

Screening carcinoma cervix by PAP smear and other office based procedures

Conducted around 300 vaginal deliveries, 20 vacuum assisted vaginal deliveries, performed 30 caesarean sections, assisted 150 caesarean section and performed 40 postpartum sterilization.

Managed various Obstetric and Gynecologic emergencies v.i.z. eclampsia, postpartum hemorrhage, post abortal bleeding, ruptured and un-ruptured ectopic pregnancy, abruption placenta, obstetric shock, DIC etc

•Performed 2 abdominal hysterectomy, assisted 50 abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, assisted 10 non descent vaginal hysterectomy, 10 transobturator tape procedure for SUI, 1 purandare sling operation. Assisted around 20 laparoscopic Hysterectomy, and many laparoscopic procedures like laparoscopic Salpingectomy, ovarian cystectomy, diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for infertility work up.

•Performed many Minor procedures Endometrial aspiration, Diltation and Evacuation, Fractional curettage, Labour Induction procedure, IUCD Insertion and removal.

•Performed around 30 Hysterosalpingography.

•Attended one month of posting in gynae-oncology in KIDWAI, Bangalore.

•Assisted many gynecological cancer surgeries like staging laparotomy, radical hysterectomy in KIDWAI, Bangalore.
