Installed RHEL onto physical servers an vmware vms. Created templates to make creation of vms faster and more consistent. Was part of a team of administrators that managed and maintained approximately 500 servers that were a mix of physical and vms running RedHat Enterprise Linux 6&7, SUSE Linux 11 and Solaris 10&11. Created and managed Solaris zones. Used Veritas Foundation Suite to manage san disk space and resize filesystems. Created process to copy financial data between UL and banking institutions using ssh and gpg. Laid out, built and maintained hadoop clusters using cloudera.
