The Verizon Indirect Channel has agents who are "Authorized Resellers" of Verizon products that are completely separate businesses and operate independently from Verizon and one another. Verizon’s top 6 agents (Cellular Sales, TCC Moorehead, GO Wireless, ATI, A-Wireless, and Diamond Wireless) or "The Big 6" have websites which are outdated, generate little web traffic and lack ecommerce functionality. The Big 6 have been interested in implementing Verizon’s ecommerce platform using Oracle Commerce platform to drive the incremental sales for years and fit within the Verizon brand standards. The platform will provide the agents the capability to merchandise and price their products however they desire while Verizon will provide the inventory and fulfillment.

Phase 2 of Nike Endeca Page Builder project encompassed a broader commitment to the Page Builder feature-set including template-based visual treatments and a further build-out of the cartridge library. Also within the scope of this project was an extension of the Endeca indexes to include a broader set of data not limited to documents, articles, videos and blogs. This was accomplished by expanding the usage of the Endeca Content Acquisition System (CAS).
