ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Power Supply
- Assembled a system that would transform a 120 Volt Alternating Current to a variable Direct Current Voltage with a maximum of 5 volts.
4 MHz Pierce Crystal Stabilized Oscillator.
- Built and soldered a circuit that would take a DC voltage and output a stable AC voltage with a 4 MHz frequency.
Light Switching device
- Constructed and soldered a circuit that would use a sensor to turn on a photocell when motion was detected.
Battery Charger
- Assembled and soldered a circuit that could use a DC voltage when connected to the circuit to charge a single AA battery.
Temperature Acquisition System & Climate Conditioning System
- Programmed a microcontroller to sample data from a temperature sensor. I would then manipulate the data with a GLCD and keypad as a user interface
- Programmed a microcontroller to sample data from a temperature, humidity, and motion sensor. If the condition was met that the motion sensor is triggered the temperature and humidity sensors are at a certain level, then the microcontroller would turn on a DC fan cooling the vicinity. A keypad and GLCD would act as a user interface.
