With PolyDeck, a manufacturer of high quality screens, panels and frames for the mining industry, I
supervise the shipping department. I supervise 5 employees. My main goal is to analyze and reduce
shipping complaints and RGA's. I initiated audits and along with current procedures have reduced
customer complaints by 80%. These procedures are followed by all shipping associates. The audits are at
every step of the shipping process from picking/packing to the final paperwork. Detail at every step is
crucial and must be consistent.
I have also initiate a more aggressive drive towards reducing freight cost for the company and our
customers. With this we have saved $130,000.00 from 2012 to 2013. This has been done in just the last 4
months of 2013.

3 Responsible for vendor relations including price negations and specification for new products.

4 Responsible for purchasing, scheduling, warehouse and production control. I oversaw two warehouse
operators, nineteen production assembly operators.

1 Responsible for all procurement for this electronic control supplier. This included transformer
components, firebox components, MRO items and cardboard.
2 Played a major role in set up of blanket orders with vendors and price negotiations in order to control
and reduce costs.

I began career with Arrow Auto in Santa Maria, CA as Import Planner and Scheduler for this major
manufacturer of automotive components. Returned to S.C. in 1990 and continued as planner for all
domestic electrical lines for starters and alternators. In 1994 was promoted to purchasing, supervising 4
buyers. Responsible for price negotiations, reviewing purchase orders and cross training planners and
buyers.
