Operation Manager Wafer Test operation from May 2005 till June 2009, from July 2009 till January 2016 Quality Initiative Manager Quality Management.
As an Operation Manager I had 4 Operation Engineers reporting to me. Being an excellent Problem Solver and with my good Interpersonal Skills I managed my whole team of approximately 80 employees in achieving all given targets and expectations with the stipulated time.
Looking at my performance the Management asked me to lead as the Quality Initiative Manager on plant wide programs. I had 3 managers reporting to me. I had introduced the Deviation Culture, Zero Defect Mind-set change, Idea Generation programs with great results. An average of yearly RM7 million savings was the result from the YIP (Your Idea Pays) program led by me from 2010 till 2015.
I am also the sought after Trainer by the (In-house) Training Department as I am the Subject Matter Expert for Zero Defect, YIP, Presentation Skills and Leading Others for ‘Today and Tomorrow’ training programs. Have received many awards for being the best SME of the year voted by the employees.
