Project Silver – Leading the IT category of spend $250 M
Offsite lead for one of GEP’s largest IT/Telecom portfolio executing sourcing initiatives for the client across products which include software, hardware, consulting services and telecom devices
Role includes end to end category management covering spend analysis, opportunity assessment, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and savings signoff and compliance. Part of a 4 member team responsible for an annual savings target of $15 MM
First point of contact for several senior stakeholders across Procurement as well as IT function. Extensive interaction with Sr. Director/VPs at the fortune 500 client. Role required 30% on-site travel. Key projects include:
Relationship Marketing Provider: Led the outsourcing of Relationship Marketing IT activities to a third party. Effort included capturing the As Is state, TCO modelling, RFX process, Negotiations and Contracting. Realized 20% savings on the project.
Flex Staffing Project: Aim of this project was to consolidate demand for generic IT staffing needs by selecting a vendor to be a central POC through which to funnel demand globally. Activities included identification of addressable spend, rate card evaluation, supplier negotiations, etc. GEP
