Description of the project: This project involves functional testing of Bank of America’s treasury and payment applications which caters to Treasury and Payment needs for Business banking clients. The application has multiple sub applications which cater to the banking needs of various clients ranging from domestic to International. CashPro Online was moved to Agile in February 2015. The project followed the LeanBan Agile practices for Release planning, Story writing, Story estimations and Reporting.

Description of the project: In the current environment, there are eight online check services applications available to clients from within CashPro Online. Some of the services interface with limited ABA’s, while others, although servicing our clients for many years, were built in stages and contain redundant functions, dissimilar historical data based on DDA’s, complex sales, fulfillment and servicing processes leading to a fragmented and confusing client experience. The Check Services Rewrite initiative is a project that will consolidate legacy check services capability into one application suite offering. In keeping with the continued goal of providing innovative and high end comprehensive check services solutions, the target solution should not only leverage functionality of existing platforms, but include expanded functionality to enhance the client experience and create a highly competitive suite of Check Service applications within the treasury services industry. The consolidation of the check services applications will improve the client experience, provide enhanced product features and enable cost savings in application support and client facing activities.
CSR needs to focus on delivering an innovative, industry leading check services solution which is secure, stable, scalable, user friendly and comprehensive.
The project is deemed necessary to allow the bank to deliver a single suite of Check Services applications which will be used by a variety of client segments, including Large Corporate/Commercial and Business Banking. Elimination of redundancies between functions across our platforms, will contibute toward allowing Technology teams to eliminate multiple legacy platforms, simplify support and eliminate confusion currently being experienced across multiple areas including Sales/Implementation/Operations Areas and our Clients. The current Direct and CPW modules operate outside full integration with the CPO target state and are considered technologically mature.
