Define and create a detailed work plan that identifies the sequences of activities needed to successfully complete the project including determination of resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project.

Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project

Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis (monthly/bimonthly)

One revolutionary project previously handled was the construction of a connection (extension) of two three- storey separate building into one, the Subic Bay Travelers and Event Center in Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

The center building that merged the existing two was roughly 1000 square meters of foot print area and was done in a record time of 75 calendar days. The construction also included the renovation of 70-suite rooms and the addition of the hotel lobby and offices.

Key Contribution:

One of my major accomplishment as a Contract Manager in this country was the approval of our interpretation regarding computation of the “Rise and Fall of Dollars” in reference to the price indices submitted. This, I directly discussed with the Secretary of Works together with their (ADB) Italian Consultants-Renardet which was later approved. Aside from this, I have also shown to the company that, standby time, idle time, and material on site can be claimed using proper documentation.

Further continuing of my service, the company decided to step up a little further by giving me full responsibility to directly manage the construction of a 17-Storey Grand Legenda Hotel and Casino. The design of which was handled by Capital House Australasia, a structural designing company from Australia. However, our general contractor was Gehin International from Malaysia.
