Acted as an integral piece during a major building maintenance and power down of the BNY Melon Building in Philadelphia

This was a team based project; working amongst 9 other IT professionals including the Building Engineer (Philadelphia), (Chicago) Client Technology Engineer, Deskside Services Manager; as well as the (London) Server, Network and Voice Engineers. All working remotely via video and phone conferencing

Worked directly with the Chicago project leads as well as the Network and Server Engineers at their London site

As the center piece I was to work in tandem, corresponding with all Techs to ensure all servers (Print, VOIP, Exchange, WAAS, Firewall); desktops and voice systems were all properly disconnected and powered down as instructed. Additionally, meeting the time-stamped deadlines according to the building engineers’ instruction of the power-down sequence

Repeating the process in reverse, my tasks included testing and trouble-shooting any desktop, printer or voice system issue

While only running into a few voice system issues; the project was a success. The IT Director of Henderson Global Philadelphia handled the VOIP issues with some of my assistance as this was his role in the project
