I worked as a contract employee for many years, and so I am experienced in many types of design and industrial office work. I can proficiently produce documents conforming to many different industry standards. I am a self-starter and perform exceptionally well under pressure. I can also work on multiple tasks simultaneously. I have used AutoCAD for many years and I learn new CAD tools and methods/standards quickly and enjoy doing so. I work well without supervision, and am diligent in accomplishing assigned tasks. Currently I am interested in a either a contract to hire or permanent position with a local contracting or engineering firm.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Xcel Energy, Denver, CO (Contract) 2015 – 2016 (Piping Designer) Using AutoCAD & CadWorx, I created complete Natural Gas distribution stations starting with engineering sketches. I also produced drawing sets for distribution and transmission stations from field sketches that I created by going in the field and measuring the existing stations in situ across the Front Range.

Enserca Engineering, Lakewood, CO 2012- 2015. (Designer I) I created & maintained P&ID's and modeled piping from them using CADWorx. I was involved in all stages of design from equipment & pipe models through production and construction drawings including isogens. These also included the steel skid frames as well. I also developed CADWorx catalogs and Isogen outputs. Trained drafters in P&ID & created new drawing & document procedures.

PDC Harris Group, LLC, Anchorage, AK- 2008-2010. (Document Control & Procurement)I was in charge of Technical document control and equipment procurement for BP and ML&P projects and completed Civil and P&ID drawings for North Slope projects.
