PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Engineering Technical Specialist - Global Engineering Process Management

Facilitated process improvement teams/events and new process development teams.

Managed the global internal audit program for the subsea engineering directorate, ensuring the program aligned with API/ISO requirements. This included coordinating audits, ensuring auditors were qualified, tracking Corrective Action Requests (CAR) responses, and conducting annual management reviews with top management.

Served as a voting member of the engineering process change review board and as a certified final signatory approver of engineering procedural documents.

Accomplishments -

oIdentified an API requirement non-conformance in tracking shelf life of elastomeric seals that triggered a change in the inventory management system for batch lots of materials.

oFacilitated an agreement between System Engineering management and Flow Assurance analysts to resolve a dispute over which group would have final responsibility for the flow assurance requirements during tender and system design reviews.

oProvided statistical evidence that the practice of saving from previous project documents as a shortcut during creation of current project documentation propagated large numbers of project documentation errors, which in turn caused large numbers engineering changes and/or rework.
