Personal Profile
I am a punctual and motivated individual who is able to work in a busy environment and produce high standards of work. I am a PRINCE2 and Practitioner qualified Project Manager and hold my SMSTS. I have vast experience on new build construction, drainage and road works
I currently hold full SC clearance for BAE in barrow-in-Furness
I'm currently working as a Project/Site Manager on a Multimillion pound development of 318 luxury apartments in barrow in Furness, my duties include day to day running of the site, performing health and safety reports, method statements and risk assessments and daily meetings with suppliers and stakeholders, I have a strong understanding of safety and building code regulations and inspection compliance and also I can negotiate with subcontractors to perform specialised work and collaborate with multiple groups to maintain tight schedules
I inherited an issue with the CDM files being in past contractors names and had to rectify this and renew all the RAMS and also update the scope of work that had changed.
I have played a major part in overseeing drainage and groundwork on numerous sites round the north west from start to finish including new build and remedial work on old properties
I I have been managing projects on and off-shore in the industrial marine environment in the past with all current certification to carry out my duties.
In the past I have done management reporting and compliance for each project assigned to me. I ensure that each project I am assigned is fully resourced, completes on time, to the right specification and within budget.
My skills are varied and include working either individually or as part of a team. Health, safety and environmental issues are extremely important in my roles and I ensure compliance at all times for both me and my team. Managing changing working environments and practices is key to continuous improvements in all my roles.
I am extremely proud of all work I do and ensure all projects deliver what the client expects. My own work standards are high with an impressive record for achievement, timekeeping and flexibility in approach.
