I have a variety of skills from working in the power & energy field for the past seven years. Those skills include the use of heavy equipment such as front loaders, forklifts, bobcats and LUL. I’ve also worked in manufacturing and the logging industry. Chemical Process Technician

Safety and accurately complete batches on time, and within specifications. Use proper P.P.E. (personal protection equipment) and perform housekeeping as required. Troubleshooting equipment and doing preventive maintenance. Perform job duties to satisfactory level and communication between shifts to ensure safe and accurate completion of batches. Ability to work with others as a team and carry out a tasks too complete safely individually. Ability to work while wearing a respirator when mixing dangerous chemicals in batches. Perform LOCKOUT/ TAG OUT AND Safe Work Permits duties a needed. Able to make and retrieve samples from batches for Quality Control Lab to approve the batches for shipping to customers in State regulations. Able to hand tools. Train to work in different departments and various jobs in the plant site.

Perform boiler water and condensate water tests in order to add chemical to the boiler system within operating perimeters. Perform lockout/ tag out procedures while isolating equipment for maintenance. Performing preventive and trouble shooting equipment to find problems. I also assist control room operator with making sure the plant is operating efficiently and safely. Daily job task include taking equipment readings and verifying equipment is operating efficiently twice a shift. I also assist the maintenance, I&C, and fuel handler department as requested to perform various tasks. Assist with the training and instructing plant tech. 3 with the task they are assigned.

Ripsaw Operator

Job duties included operating a 6 foot ripsaw to rip boards to deferent sizes and lengths. Perform maintenance on saw. Changing saw blades when needed, and changing the width between saw blades based on each orders. Also trained in other area and equipment in the production plant.
