Bombardier Wichita, KS. Avionics/Instrumentation Technician

Repair, modify, install, troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on experimental aircraft

and avionics systems according to engineer drawings, specifications, schematics, work orders, FAA

regulations, and company standards of quality. Set up and operate ground support and test

equipment to perform functional flight tests of electrical and electronic systems. Inspect, test,

repair aircraft electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

* Assisted in certifying systems on platforms including the Rockwell Collins Fusion Avionic Suite for

Global 6000, Challenger 350, and the C-Series 100.

* Serve as Assistant Lead Technician in lieu of Lead's absence. Assigned work to technicians and

inspect work to ensure quality control.

* Recognized "go-to" person to resolve complex technical/paperwork issues.

* Collaborate effectively with quality inspectors, supervisors, engineers, and aircraft maintenance

controllers to expedite processes and ensure quality products.

* Selected by management to travel to Afghanistan to assist in maintaining Battlefield Airborne

Communications Node.
