Solutions Specialist
2015 to Present Verizon Wireless Pittsburgh, PA
In June of 2015 accepted a position with Verizon Wireles to serve as Solutions Specialist. Responsiblities included to meet and greet incoming traffic, perform a discovery process and recommend the best solutions for each individual. Also performed service for all devices offered to the public by Verizon Wireless.
●Lead Project TMP for the Indiana Store. Goal was to increase insurance sales. Upon starting the project 6% of all equipment that left the facility purchased the insurance, after two months the percentage climbed to forty.
IT/Infrastructure
2009 to 2014 Tek Systems Pittsburgh, PA
In January of 2009, accepted a position with Tek Systems to serve as the Lead for IT/Infrastructure for approximately 250 users at the Homer City Power Plant. Responsibilities include Desktop support, printers and Blackberry Devices. Also, IT Infrastructure, cabling and desktop phones.
●Loaded all software including, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, client and several proprietary packages.
●Setup and maintained multiple users to access the network using the Cisco VPN Client.
●Used Ghost software to setup, install and backup all desktop computers.
●Resolved all issues, both hardware and software with all the above equipment. Also maintained telecommunication equipment, with some installation experience. On call 24 hours, seven days a week.

Workstation Analyst II
2007- 2009 Kennametal, Inc. Latrobe, PA
In January of 2007, moved permanently to Corporate Head Quarters. Provided support to more than 350 employees located in the corporate headquarters. Installed and supported computers, printers, and cellular devices within IT infrastructure. Maintained access to VPN services and all telecommunication equipment.

After a period of fourteen months, hired permanently to fill the MIS Coordinator position. Responsible for providing Desktop and Network Support to approximately 200 users in Irwin, and another 100 users at remote locations. Responsibilities included complete setup, installation and support of desktops, printers, and Blackberry/Treo devices.
●Part of job responsibility is to travel to Michigan once a month to provide hands on support to those sites.

Contractor
2004-2006 Tek Systems Pittsburgh, PA
Presently working as a contractor with Kennametal, Inc. in Latrobe, PA. Responsible for upgrading approximately 360 Dell series laptops for the sales force. Day to day duties include, receiving laptops, creating an image of the hard drive using ghost, extracting personal data from the above said image, and then re-imaging the laptop. At this point, the extracted data is then placed back on the laptop. The laptop is then tested to ensure the data is their and connectivity is possible. The laptop is then shipped back to the user.
●Traveled to Toronto, Canada for a week to upgrade 40 sales laptops for that region.
●Responsible for the Microsoft XP SP2 Upgrade Project. Using Microsoft SMS, upgraded almost 4000 systems globally from XP SP1 to SP2.
●Responsible for the Lotus Notes Upgrade Project. In the process of upgrading 5000 systems globally to Lotus Notes version 6.5.2.
Network Design Analyst/System Administrator
1995-2004 Highmark, Inc. Pittsburgh, PA / Johnstown, PA
Maintained and supported an office of approximately 125 users. Responsibilities included complete setup and installation of desktops, servers, phones and network gear. Also created login scripts for each user and all departments.
●Loaded all software including, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Oracle client and several proprietary packages.
●Setup and maintained multiple users to access the network using the Cisco VPN Client.
●Setup, monitored and administered the DHCP server, Windows 2000 servers, and a series of Cisco routers and switches. Performing daily, weekly and monthly backups.
●Setup and maintained approximately 30 printers on the network, using IP printing.

Served as a member of the following migration teams:
●Converted over 4000 users from Windows Email system to Lotus Notes 4.
●Converted over 4000 desktops from Token Ring to Ethernet. Including the conversion of over 400 printers for IP printing.
●Member of the Y2K Millennium team, updating over 4000 desktops to be Y2K compatible.
●Converted the Johnstown Office server from Novell 4 to Windows 2000.
●Converted all the Johnstown Office Desktops several times. From Windows 3.1 to NT4, then to Windows 2000.
●Converted the Johnstown email users from Lotus Notes 4 to Lotus Notes 5, then Lotus Notes 6.
●Participated on the board to develop a Disaster Recovery Plan for the Johnstown Office
