JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITY

Reference to above job history,

Be familiar accordance with local authority standards & requirements e.g. ADDC, ADCO, HAAD, CIVEL DEFENSE guidelines and all relevant international standards applying in the site.

Review and check all SLD and Shop Drawings to ensure quality of design and output. also responsible for design activities of complete electrical systems including substations, HV,MV, LV MDB, SMDB, FDB and all low current systems (Fire alarm system, FM 200 system, PA system, Nurse Call system, Queuing system, access control system, CCTV, MATV system, Central Clock systems,, Audio visual systems, BMS system, UPS system, automatic sliding/swing doors system, lighting control system and IPS system) as assigned.

Responding to site RFIs, conducting reviews of specialist suppliers or contractor prepared designs, and attending site meetings to resolve construction issues.

Monitoring and/or evaluating electrical tests such as ground-fault, ground resistance, insulation resistance, polarity, continuity, capacity, load and other electrical field tests as required.

Reviewing project contract documents and monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance.

Review vendor's documentations with respect to give approval for all electrical equipments and materials to ensure compliance with the prime contractor's requirements and coordinate/follow up for FAT visit for projects. Report/assist in resolving blockings points

Follow all process of installation, commissioning and testing for all parts in project.

Responsible for technical analysis and resolution of any risk and engineering problems in the site.

Monitor the Contractor’s progress of the works, and liaise with the Planning Engineer accordingly to manage Quality, time Control, Cost Control, Manpower, Materials needed and reporting for records and review the trouble-shooting of master planning.

Study all compliance statement, technical deviations and technical query submitted by contractor

Lead the coordination process with other senior team leaders and all end-users and subcontractors for continuity of the project.

Estimate and evaluate time and cost variation also prepare the concerned claim.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance and other contractual and technical standards.

Continually improve methods and procedures for processes, measurement, documenting and work flow techniques

Keeping with current legislation, Standards and Codes, the Nation Electrical Code(NEC)of Practice

Preparation of monthly project status reports and change orders.

Attend technical and progress meetings with the contractor/client's representative.
