WORK EXPERIENCE
Lead Resident Aide
American House - Jenison, MI - June 2015 to Present
As a lead resident aide, I am in charge of the building including the residents and the employees. I pass
medications, take vitals, carefully monitor residents and their health changes. I also chart and take notes on
the resident's daily activities and health changes. I work with a computer and can type at least 40 words per
minute. I assist with the aides and help ambulate the residents or transfer them if they are unable to walk.
I update the resident's families with the resident's health conditions. I deal with residents on hospice and
non-hospice. With living assistance I help with residents by serving meals, feeding as necessary, ambulating,
turning and positioning them in bed. With all of these responsibilities I also train a team of staff with assisted
living procedures to help ensure guaranteed consistent quality of care.

I waited on customers, took and brought drink orders along with food. Dealt with cash handling and had
excellent customer service. Delivered food and drinks while multitasking with other jobs such as cleaning and
bussing tables, hostessing; bringing people to their tables, took food and drink orders in a timely fashion. This
was a very fast paced environment.

As a bartender I would meet and greet customers with graciousness and a welcoming attitude. I took drink
orders and made the drinks in a timely matter, along with food orders. I dealt with a cash register which
included cash handling and credit card duties. I had the responsibility of pay close attention to customers
and their drink limits to make a safe environment for the restaurant. I also trained bartenders and servers to
become responsible and charismatic to the customers and to perform at their best ability to make the customers
satisfied.

matter. Opened and closed credit union accounts and dealt with selling higher options to a person's account
such as a more beneficial checking or savings account.
