I also have knowledge in commercial insurance, billing (NEIC and hard copy), and follow-up. When I began working for Mercy, I started out in the Tower lab working under admitting managers; therefore, admissions and lab knowledge. Duties included opening and closing of the Tower Lab dept. with registration of all patients and lab work dropped off from physician's offices, and ordering lab procedures to be performed by the phlebotomist and lab. This office was downsized and moved to home office in St Louis.
