Jayem Automotives Ltd. is India's only independent knowledge based Automobile R&D Company presently a strategic partner of Tata Motors Ltd. The Company provides Engine Test Bed, Vehicle Testing, Designing of prototype components for automotive applications and manufacturing.

My Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure proper guidance to mechanic for proper test set up and engine installation as per the TML specification.

Preparing complete programming of IASYS 3.6 test bed operating Software as per the protocol given by TML.

Conducted endurance tests on engines from Tata Motors Ltd like 1.05L DICOR, 1.5L DICOR, 475IDI, 1.2 Revotron etc. as per test protocols.

Monitor the characteristics and failures during the endurance trials& prepare failure reports. Reporting the details of testing to TML and managing day to day activities of Engine testing center.

Hands on experience in all Engine wiring harness, sensors, actuators, instruments & conditioning systems used for engine testing.

Conducting various tests on engines, this includes mechanical development, durability testing, component development& performance testing.

Communicate (CAN) ECU & Trouble shoot engine with calibration tool VISU & Diagnosis for engine endurance testing.

Sound knowledge of engine dynamometers, test bed preparation, test instrumentation and data acquisition.

Support to calibrate & develop the 1.2 REVOTRON TCIC petrol & 3 cylinder 810 CC NANO diesel project engines with calibration& technical team to meet latest emission norms.
