Title :Enhancing Carrier-to-Noise Ratio in an Optical-CDMA based Radio Fiber Network.

Duration :3 months.

Scope :This is basically a simulation project and the main purpose of this system is to reduce the Bit-Error-Rate (BER) of the system.

Description:The optical-CDMA is a technique in which the user uses specific unique code rather than specific wavelength or timeslot. It uses Spread spectrum technique along with optical link for transmission of data. It provides large communication bandwidth along with the capability of secure data transmission. The key advantage of OCDMA is multiple access technique which allows many users to share the same optical link simultaneously. The performance of the system is strongly related on the correlation properties of the Quadratic congruence code used. This technique is mainly used for wired network.

Tool : MATLAB R2012a.
