Director Of Facilities / Americas

Director of Facilities responsible for all facilities services and operations in North and South America, consisting of offices, manufacturing, warehousing, and data center operations.

Responsible for rebuilding the facilities department; implementing all new policies, procedures and operational guidelines for effective facilities operations, equipment / systems control, tenant improvements and budgetary management globally.

In charge of all operations / maintenance programs and activities related to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, as well as, manufacturing lines for slot machine production.

Maintain oversight of ongoing and preventative maintenance programs companywide; utilizing CMMS software to manage over 5,000 pieces of equipment and machinery spread throughout 100 facilities.

Direct all Tenant Improvement (T.I) Projects; Coordinating designers, architects and contractors related to facilities design, space planning and onsite construction activities. Managed over 450 T.I Projects through tenure, in excess of over $500M.

Chief Engineer Of Facilities

Chief Facilities Engineer responsible for the planning, management and execution of all day to day operations of the engineering department consisting of 200+ staff members, operating 3 shifts 24/7 in a 2+ million sq. ft. of resort, retail, hotel, restaurant, amusement and gaming facilities under the Stratosphere umbrella throughout Southern Nevada (las Vegas and Laughlin). Also managed all staff development.

In charge of all equipment operations and maintenance programs; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers, kitchen equipment, and facility equipment.

Developed and maintained oversight of ongoing and preventative maintenance programs companywide; utilizing BMS / CMMS software to manage over 750 pieces of equipment and machinery for all aspects of facilities, and business plan implementation.

Provided design review in conjunction with architects, craftsmen and other vendors to assure finished product meets hotel standards. Routinely inspected properties and advised senior management on feasible capital investment projects. Managed all departmental budgets.
