2009-2012 Senior Facilities Manager and Engineering Lead

Civil Engineering Lead responsible for the implementation of $350 Million in new construction in support of the Joint Strike Fighter Task Force located on Marine Corps Air Station Yuma AZ. Instrumental in development and construction of master plan involving base-wide communication, water, waste, road and runway improvements. Managed the development of 5 new buildings: F-35 flight test simulator building (68,000 SF), two (2) state-of- the-art maintenance and administration hangars (54,000 SF each), communications center (52,000 SF) and a flight tower simulator building (27,000 SF). Additionally managed design and construction of 10,000 foot auxiliary landing field. All projects were fostered from concept to construction completion to include environmental and noise impact studies. Managed design and construction of new Arizona Public services substation to serve added total electric load. All projects attained LEED Gold certification and were constructed simultaneously, on time and within budget. Acted as member of team assembled to investigate facility readiness for Israeli Air Force integration of F-35.
