My entire academic and professional experience has provided me with skill set covering the following areas:

Industrial safety:-: Industrial safety aims at minimizing the chances of risks, injuries and accidents by implementing risk management techniques and safety management operations, improving the standard of health of the employees, monitoring the operating system and bolstering the safety measures of an industry in general. With the rise of natural disasters in and around in industry, the importance of the safety of human capital, protection of the environment and conservation of existing assets of an industry is increasing, leading to growing relevance of skills in industrial safety. Safety professionals are relied on to identify unsafe or hazardous conditions and coordinate efforts to eliminate the hazard. Safety and industrial hygiene is the practice of ensuring the general health and safety of workers by supplying information, services and equipment to help identify, evaluate and control potentially harmful activities in work environment. Preparing onsite emergency plan and DMP plan for EC and HRC projects.

Social Economics:- Social Impact Assessment (SIA) includes the processes of analyzing, monitoring and managing positive and negative change, Social Impact Assessment for social, economic and biophysical impacts, Social Impact Assessment (SIA) to ensure that there is no mismatch between the development and socio-cultural and economic of the project area. Social impacts refer to changes to individuals and communities due to proposed action that alters the day to day way in which people live, work, play relate to one another,organize to meet their needs generally cope as member of society.

Solid waste management: - Knowledge and conducting benchmarking studies for evaluation physical and chemical characteristics of solid waste and finding of waste generation norms based on the study. Estimation of municipal solid waste quantification & characterization of bins and their capacities. Detailed report writing advising the suitable waste processing/treatment technology and overall waste handling & management.

Environmental Clearance: – Preparation & submission of environmental clearances documents including Form1, 1A, consolidated statement, six monthly compliance report, and CTO report etc. for both B1 & B2 category projects and required presentations for the same.

Environmental Impact Assessment:– As an Associated Functional area expert (AFAE) for Noise and Landuse and Socio-economic is able to assist the Functional area Expert (FAE’s) for sampling and report preparation.

Software Knowledge:– AutoCAD, ProCad Handling for preparing & updating the drawings required for any project, TNM 2.5 software for Noise modelling. Educational Qualifications

Project Details

M.Sc. Major Project

Worked on project titled “Isolation of Biosurfactant producer from Hydrocarbon contaminated site” at Microsatbiolab, Vashi.

A biosurfactant-producing bacterium, isolateRT5, was isolated from hydrocarbon contaminated site. The nature of biosurfactant produced was analyzed by HPLC and was found to be rhamnolipid. The sequence of the 16S rRNA gene from isolate RT5 showed 100 % similarity with Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain Tsaydam-5-ASA. Crude biosurfactant was extracted by liquid-liquid extraction method. To confirm the ability of isolates in biosurfactant production, haemolysis test, emulsification test and measurement of surface tension were conducted. We also evaluated the effect of different pH, and temperatures on biosurfactant production. The optimum production of biosurfactant was observed at temperature 35 C and at pH 6. The crude biosurfactant did not exhibit inhibitory action against Gram-positive and Gram negative bacterial strains. Results of the present study suggested that this isolate have potential to use in oil degradation studies.

Disaster Management Plan: Studying the risk management strategies during a disaster (on-site or offsite) of industries.

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): Detailed study of the positive and negative impacts on environment before, during and after a project.

Legal case study: Studying and analyzing the standing and implementation of the Environmental laws
