OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVE

Investigate, diagnose and perform trade related maintenance, rebuild and repairs to Caterpillar heavy earth moving equipment and machinery according to the maintenance requirements

Perform inspections in accordance with the Mining Act regulations, manufacturing and company standards.

From 1988 – 2006 I started off as an Auxiliary Fire-fighter for the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service. After a few years became a Lieutenant and obtained my Certificate IV in Assessment and Training and taught the new recruits. I performed most of these duties after my normal work and on weekends for 18 years in Ingham.

My role as an auxiliary fire-fighter was to responds to:

Structural, landscape and vehicle fire;

Road crash rescue;

Swift water and water rescue;

Storm and natural disaster;

Building fire safety;

Hazardous condition incidents;

Land, marine, air and urban search and rescue;

Crime scene, missing person and forensic searches;

Animal disease outbreaks; and

Communications.
