c)Project Description

ERP LX cross reference data Integration with SFDC/TC/CPQ/NAV using Infor ION

- The project aimed at integrating Infor ERP LX data like Item Type/Item Class/Company etc. with other business application (SFDC/NAV/CPQ/TC) using Infor ION as middleware. ERP LX common master data setup like Item Type/Item Class/Company etc. were needed to be sync with other application to support other integrations like Item Master/Customer Master etc. This integration could be seen as cross reference data integration.

ERP LX 832 to ERP LX 834 implementation/upgrade - The project aimed at upgrading ERP LX from 832 to 834 version. Arcad change management implementation - The ARCAD-Skipper solution provides true Software Configuration Management - managing multiple projects by placing a natural hierarchy between them, thus minimizing effort in source code merges. ARCAD-Skipper references all source assets, regardless of their host platform (IBM i, Windows, UNIX, Linux). A set of source parsers detect all the dependencies between components. 1)Project Description: ERP LX implementation. (Product: BPCS 8.3.2/ERP LX) –

The project needed to implement Infor ERP LX and at same time integrate Infor ERP LX with web based ordering application and upgrade legacy application as part of client migration from BPCS 6 to ERP LX.

Contribution:

Developed solution to integrate/interface Web ordering system of Client through ECM module of ERP LX and using IBM MQ series. The nature of work involved me to work along with Infor USA PSO consultant’s to understand client requirement and analyze it and work on solution proposal as provided by them. The work included to setup the ECM & ORD module to support integration and then educate client to use the module as to support integration with Third party application (QuinStreet). The work needed to develop RPGLE/CLLE program to support the integration of third party application data in ERP LX

Developed & tested customized batch allocation program, pick release program, pick confirm program, billing run program. Needed to provide solution to call the allocation/pick release/pick confirm program in batch as nightly job

Developed and migrated many of client legacy interface and business applications, since the customer was moving from BPCS 6 to ERP LX 8.3.2, they needed to modernize and replace the existing legacy system.

Developed RPGLE program which create XML messages and was then sent to IBM MQ series to send status messages back to Web Ordering system. This was part of client requirement to integrate their third party application with ERP LX 8.3 so that order can progress as the business events are carried out in ERP LX.

Designed and Developed ARP system solution to automate the bank payment of client. Helped integrate client bank payment details (received daily/weekly in flat file) with ARP module of ERP LX 8.3.2. I was responsible for gathering business requirement and doing the analysis and developing code and thereafter involved in UAT and finally doing deployment to client ERP LX environment.

Developed programs using SNAPI and LX Connector. Client needed to automate the ERP LX transaction (Inventory load/adjustment, order cancellation, customer data load) for which SNAPI and LX Connector (integration tools as provided by ERP LX 8.3.2) were used to automate it.

2) Project: Installation and implementation of various Infor tools (AS/SET, SNAPI, ERP LX WebTop)

Infor BPCS/ERP LX Admin. – Installed and upgraded BPCS 8.2.0 and LX 8.3.0 on various Infor servers as part of internal requirement for BPCS team in Infor. It involved making a plan for the BPCS/ ERP LX installation and executing them. The job also required to install WebTop for ERP LX and upgrade them as needed.

AS/SET Admin. - Job required to installed AS/Set tool and maintain environment. The job needed to install the BPCS conversion tool and use them for standard data migration and testing the data converted.

3) Project: Custom Coding on BPCS ERP (BPCS 4.x -8.x)

Shipping Label generation from BPCS 4.05CD Rel02 – Worked for client requirement to generate Shipping label from BPCS, and outputting it to TL Ashford label print program. The data for the shipping label generation came from standard BPCS files like ECH/ECL/ITH/IIM etc. and other customized file specific to client. Worked along with USA personal to gather requirement, perform requirement analysis and created functional design specification document. Designed and developed RPGLE & CLLE program and performed unit / UAT testing.

POC for migrating BPCS 4.05CD client data to BPCS 8.3 – Worked along with Infor Europe

PSO to migrate the BPCS 4.05CD Rel02 client data to ERP LX 8.3. I was responsible for handling the POC from offshore. Worked needed to analyze the current BPCS 4.05 CD data and screen and functionality as in both versions of BPCS, doing a comparative study of files/screen/functionality as in BPCS 4.05 and in ERP LX and later setting up the ERP LX environment. The BPCS 4.05 CD data was migrated using Infor conversion tool. Once the conversion was done, I was responsible for doing initial level of data Validation and later with Infor Europe PSO technical experts and client.

Report program to suggest MPS-MRP-DRP orders and Production Planning by Work

Center – Worked on client requirement to create report for Open MPS-MRP-DRP order

and production planning by work center. I was responsible for, gather requirement, requirement

analyzing, creating functional design specification document and later converting it to

RPGLE/CLLE program. Later, performing unit testing and User acceptance testing.

4) Project: INFOR PRMS ERP Product development and maintenance work.

Contribution:

Designed and development of the code to resolve the customer raised defect through Infor One Point Support.

Created design and coded RPG/CL program for defects across the entire PRMS ERP module.

Always, timely realized the specified design in the code which required addition or change of business features and logic.
