•Responsible for the control and maintenance of 16M parts (in inventory) through an effective cycle count program and the timeliness of all data entry of the processes.

March 1974 to September 1988 BAXTERS/CONVERTORS El Paso, TX FINISHED GOODS SUPERVISOR

Supervised 37 employees in a warehouse totaling 165,000 sf.

Responsibilities were as follows:

•Formulation and control of a $7.SM expense budget and an $18M inventory.

•Receiving, warehousing and distribution of finished goods in excess of 5.3M cases per year.

•Scheduling and expediting orders (approx. 23 trailer loads per day) in addition to a re-box operation, return goods, samples, air shipments, LTL and local shipments).

•Freight payments and the generating bills of ladings.

•Developing standards on all inbound loads of raw materials and negotiating rates with carriers of all shipments; and developing cost improvements.

Other responsibilities included interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in all previous positions mentioned.
