9+ year’s extensive onshore experience on major projects in the Oil & Gas, petrochemical and Power plant projects, shut-downs and fabrication yards as a Heavy Lift & Transport Specialist / Engineer.
A good experience and knowledge in project engineering, design and execution work for Heavy Haulage, Lifting and marine transportation. Have been involved in many Heavy Lift Projects involving over land transportation using multi axle platform trailer and SPMT’s, Load out and marine transport operations using modular trailers and marine spread and Lifting using cranes ranging from 25 Te to 3200 Te capacity crawler and telescopic cranes.
Extensive knowledge and experience in designing / Analysing rigging plan using with Cranimax, Liccon and Salsa software and Auto CAD tools including with method statements / risk analysis / JSA’s…
Extensive knowledge and experience in designing the Transport arrangement drawings and stability calculations.
Extensive knowledge and experience in load in & out analysis using with MOSES (Multi Operational Structural Engineering Simulator) software and sea fastening and lashing calculations.
Experience in NPCC (National Petroleum Construction Company) as offshore installation Engineer.
Working in GPCC as Snr. Rigging Engineer at Abu Dhabi Air Port Project..
Duties & Responsibilities:.
Marine :
Prepare Bage ballasting calculation for the load-out and load-in using mosses software
Prepare stowage plan, mooring drawing, lashing and sea fastening calculations.
Prepare load-out drawings for final position of items on barge.
Check to ensure there is no interference with barge on board items during load out.
To collect barge structure drawing from the barge owner to prepare ballast and
de-ballast calculation / plan for load-out and load-in operation by RO-RO method.
To prepare / calculate a barge structure / intact stability during load-out, load-in and sailing operation according to the international marine standard such as Noble Denton, IMO etc.
Prepare a stability book for barge operation.
Design and calculate the mooring arrangement for barges / vessels.
Design and calculate sea fastening.
Design and calculate mat and grillage according to job requirement.
Supervise the barge ballasting control with the load-out supervisor.
To laise with Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) to get approval for complete engineering document for the marine transportation.
Lifting & Transportation :
Preparation of technical proposal and commercial proposal for Tender submission and evaluation.
Client visits / Site visit for business development.
Management of Project execution at site, arranging necessary permits and organizing necessary trainings for personnel and ensuring execution of project as per documents.
Resource planning for projects and liaison with clients for HSE related issues and timely completion of project activities.
Lifting calculations, Transport calculations, Weighing calculations, Method statements, Rigging Studies, Transport studies, Route survey, Site Visit.
Prepare crane assembly procedure and Load test procedure.
Ground preparation drawing and Ground bearing calculation (using with Cranimax and Liccon job planning software and Auto CAD tools.
Select appropriate equipment for projects as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Review inquiries and tender to advise suitable equipment and duration for inquires / projects.
Prepare rigging studies, transport studies and barge layout.
Prepare method statement for projects.
Prepare project planning schedule.
Analysis all project related technical issues.
Organizing the documentation of incoming and outgoing drawing files.
