Position :

Oracle DBA

Duties:

Responsible of +100 DBs.

Integrate new DBs (specify HW, install DB, migrate data).

Implement Oracle appliances on the company (Exadata, Supercluster, ODA)

Engineered system maintenance and patching (Clusterware, ASM, RDBMS)

Ensure that best practices are followed during DB deployment

Migration/consolidation of legacy DBs

Database backup / cloning / refresh

Build disaster recovery DBs with dataguard

Collaborate with internal/external developers

Provide level 2 support for operations

Tune DBs and troubleshoot performance issues (IO, OS, Network)

Write shell monitoring scripts

Automate tasks (i.e. partition creation/aging)

Keep detailed inventory of DBs and licenses

Interact with Oracle support / sales
