> JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

. To record and maintain temperature graph.

. Responsible for keeping adequate stock of blood and to issue them as

needed.

. To maintain stock of reagent.

. To carry out biomedical waste disposal as per FDA rules and maintain

register.

. Labeling, documenting, storing and issue of blood.

. Grouping and matching of all samples from the wards, operation

theatres etc, and issuing matched blood as and when needed.

. Doing Rh factor test for all cases and maintains their records.

. Maintaining cleanliness and discipline in the department.

. Maintaining and accounting for various stores and equipment.

. Preparing and monthly indent of inventory and indent from stores and

their maintenance.

. Preparing and dispatching monthly progress reports.

. Preparing monthly statement of all procured blood bags and issue

bags.

. To check the pH ID solution (Ionized Solution)

. To update the daily stock

. Doing any other work which may be assigned by the department head.

. In case the required blood group or component is not available the

it has to be arranged by the other blood banks other than mother

blood bank.

. To maintain records of procurement, master register, issue register,

cross match register, discard register, reagent register.
