Content Management System: Development of Web based portal that provides contents to the customer for selection of instruments (Client – VTI Instruments) and view information of the selected instruments. Details will be fetched from the data provider, which is dynamically changing for each and every release.
Customer Experience Management: Designed and developed a rich internet web application that take customers feedback on each instrument and store it in DB and show the Customer’s experience on each instrument they select. We also give a trend graph about instruments and feedbacks.
Roles & Responsibilities: Involved in design discussions, Requirement analysis, Unit testing, System, Integration and Cross- browser testing, Test case review and execution, Defect and issue reporting, Documentation. Trainee - Infosys Limited, India Sep 2011- Feb 2012
Basics of Java, RDBMS, Software Engineering Process, SQL, C++, UNIX, HTML, Oracle Application Framework (OAF). ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Online Marketplace: Design and implementation of Online Marketplace Application focusing on software design patterns and framework for distributed computing in JAVA.
Shift Reporting App: Designed and developed a web application to provide services to hospitals staff to store, maintain, track and diagnose patient data among the rotational staff. Using: C#, ASPX
Distributed Cache System: Implemented a distributed cache system using Hadoop multi-node cluster on Amazon EC2 to perform search, retrieval and correlation of static and dynamic data faster by having cache storage across the shared system.
Gomuku (Five in a Row) game: Implemented a Gomuku game, played on two different machines by specifying co- ordinates and movement along the Go-Board to announce the winner.
Automated Metadata Generation from Text: Implemented Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) and Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) information retrieval techniques to create two text summarization methods that can be evaluated and extensively compared for their effectiveness
Data Structures for Dynamic Set: Implemented Binary Search tree, Red Black tree and Skip List data structure for storing string data object and performed comparative data analysis among these data structures in JAVA as part of the course work.
Adaptive Mean Shift for MRI Brain Segmentation: Implemented adaptive mean shift and K-means algorithm to classify the brain voxels into the 3 main tissue types such as grey matter, white matter and the cerebro-spinal fluid by incorporating both joint-spatial intensity features by FAST ADAPTIVE MEAN SHIFT FRAMEWORK. GRADUATE COURSE WORK
Database Systems, Programming Languages, Intelligent Systems, Algorithms Design Analysis and Impl, Adv Mobility and Cloud Computing, Data Communication and Computer Networking, Distributed Computing, Trustworthy Computing, Object Oriented Design and Program, Clinical Information Systems.
ACTIVITIES
Placement coordinator and volunteer of Computer Interface Club, Bangalore Institute of Technology, which was instrumental in conducting technical events such as Seminars, Technical talk & Industrial visits in coordination with companies.
