Description: Operated on Remedy ticketing system base user’s requests and fault management alerts environment in support of MetLife servers (AIX and Wintel), database (MSSQL, DB2, Oracle, Sybase), and storage (Arrays: Symmetrix, Celerra, Clariion, and IBM) monitoring. The MetLife servers, database and storage monitoring are supported in BMC Patrol KM and EMC Control Center platforms in two major data centers. Utilize BMC Patrol KM to monitor MetLife servers and databases based on users request in either or both Base rules and custom rules. Analyze trouble tickets, trouble shoot BMC Patrol KM alerts and notify operation or users on proper action to resolve issues. Utilize EMC Control Center application to monitor storage arrays that utilized by MetLife servers in two major data centers. Design, configure, and setup SNMP traps monitoring and processing in CA Spectrum application in support of storage monitoring platforms migration from Tivoli Netcool platform.
Responsibilities:
To repair or to restore BMC Patrol KM configurations per Remedy tickets escalated from operation.
Create, Configure or Update custom, base Patrol rules for monitoring including DATABASE, TABLE SPACES, FILESYSTEM, CPU, DISK…..etc.
Trouble shoots Patrol agent failures, restore Patrol agent, and install database KM processes.
To repair, restore, or install EMC Control Center master, host and other ECC storage agents in support of storage monitoring.
Trouble shoots ECC master and host agent issues due to memory, disk capacity or files system problems.
To design and configure SNMP traps monitoring in support of multiple storage platform monitoring. The monitoring platforms include ECC, Sentinel, DCFM, and VPLEX.
To create custom alert mapping to handle SNMP traps that were not defined by vender MIBS so that CA Spectrum application would be able to monitor those SNMP traps in support storage monitoring.

Description: The project TRAMS (Treasury Receivable And Management System), credit management support for AT&T Finance Organizations and Commercial Marketing and Account Executives groups. Supported the customer’s ad-hoc requests and seven full LEC Business Take-backs (Windsonsin, SWBTS, Ameritech, Bell South, GTE1, US West, and Pac Tel) with wide range of data volume. The efforts involved the interfacing with billing system on data integrity, process data through TRAMS/CMW, and coordinated with the customer on report distribution. The support included system deployment and report migration. Support D&B Bankruptcy Trial to generate analysis report on the D&B vendor data (Dun and Bradstreet Inc). The trial required to perform several matching process to obtain a better result on evaluate the vendor product and data. The test results were to support the decision of purchasing D&B data and production for collection system process.
