PROJECT ENGINEER
Duties and Responsibilities
Main Function:
Assist and support the project manager regarding project management.
Project management including project site surveys, evaluation, monitoring, coordination, reporting and supervision.
Conduct site visits, ocular inspections and site surveys of on-going projects and prospected projects prior to bidding.
Reviews of all preliminaries, scope of works, as built plans including advance planning.
Reviews of location of existing utilities to possible conflicts and suggest relocation and similar proposals.
Ensures that all permits, submittals and other pertinent documents are properly accomplished and documented.
Attend pre-bids.
Supervise workers for close monitoring of progress of the project.
Job functions:
Implement company policies, procedures, rules and regulations to ensure order and safety.
Study and prepare materials estimate/quantity take off.
Coordinate with project-in-charge on clients’sideandproject manager regarding any clarifications on technical specification and requirements.
Ensures company property, tools and equipment are maintain in safe and efficient working condition.
Negotiate with supplier, service provider on price, terms of payment and other related subjects.
Secures client’s approval on technical specification of materials/ submittals.
Ensures that project has smooth flowing accomplishment in accordance to technical specification, time-frame and budget.
