EXPERIENCE Video Editor - Ravenswood Solutions (Ft. Hood, TX May-June 2016)

Ingested, organized and edited raw video footage as a US Army contractor. This fast-paced environment required a turn-around of no more than 24 hours. Approximately 8 videos of training exercises were taken 6 days a week for a month on one Army base, estimating around 120 high quality products. I was recommended by SRI International for this position.

Video Editor - Playboy Entertainment (Burbank, CA September 2014 - May 2016)

Responsible for encoding and transcoding live TV for international broadcasts. Operating multiple programs and systems gave me the opportunity to change frame rates and codecs without losing quality. I was able to ensure the highest quality product can be displayed on domestic and international televisions.

Lead Video Editor - SRI International (Ft. Smith, AK May-August 2014, 2015)

Ingested, organized and edited raw video footage as a US Army contractor. I was required to work with multiple video sources and dozens of codecs. In 2014 I was a new member of the team editing videos. In 2015 I was promoted to supervisor, leading the post production department.

Freelance Video Editor - Regent University (Virginia Beach, VA January-May 2014)

Freelance video editor for an International web series, “Sons In Transit.” I was able to exceed deadlines and helped produce a high quality product. This job allowed me to develop and improve skills with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and SpeedGrade.

Post Production Intern - M2 Pictures (May-August 2012)

As an intern I worked in the ingest room, taking source footage and transcoding it to digital media for video editors. I was able to assist in the development of shows for Discover Channel and National Geographic.
