ROFESSIONAL HISTORY

2003 - Present: S a f e M e d i a C o r p ., Boca a Raton, FL – Founder & CTO Fahmy founded SafeMedia to design solutions to protect enterprise networks against all cybersecurity threats. He hired and managed a team of Research PhD’s that developed advanced embedded innovative software with purpose-built appliances. The results are the next generation cybersecurity solution featuring both the patented Advanced Network Security Appliance (ANSA™) and the Smasher™ Appliance.

ANSA™ detects all stages of the cyber-attack lifecycles by detecting both known and unknown threats, especially Zero-Day and Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), that are both external and internal, from networks that are wired, wireless, or encrypted located at the edge of the network or within the network core. Smasher™ is an automated malware analysis system used to automatically run and analyze files collected from network traffic at wire speed that block and remediate attacks that might otherwise take advantage of network vulnerabilities and unpatched systems. SafeMedia has fully developed its cybersecurity solutions that have been validated and commercialized by a few key successful installations at an enterprise account, education institutions and a county state government facility. SafeMedia’s patented intellectual property forms the basis for a unique barrier to entry for any other companies. Funding is needed to ensure SafeMedia’s success by building out its sales and marketing organizations to fully capitalize on its developed cybersecurity solution so it can increase its customer’s installations to build its brand recognition. 1993-2002: WIZNET, Inc., Delray Beach, FL – Founder & CTO Fahmy developed and implemented an advanced software system using Adaptive Pattern Recognition that converted unformatted paper catalogs into formatted digital content that was used by Dot.com startups to build out their online catalogs on the Internet. He was successful in getting funding that enabled him to build out the company’s full organization with sales, marketing, development and customer support and recruited an dot.com industry focused CEO. The company was acquired by a private company. 1987 - 1992: BESI, Delray Beach, FL - Founder, CEO, CTO Fahmy founded BESI (Built Environmental System, Inc.) and developed GIS systems that deployed adaptive pattern recognition of property images and satellite images for applications in Federal, State and local governments. Several systems were sold to various counties in FL that enabled county property appraisers to access the automatic generation of spatial data so they could assess taxes on fruit crops. BESI was an Elite Development Partner and Integrator for DEC

(Digital Equipment Corporation).

1972 - 1986: Manufacturing Systems Specialist (MSS), Boca Raton, FL - Founder, CEO, CTO Fahmy founded MSS as an IBM Business Partner and he was contracted by IBM as a Senior Developer of Manufacturing Systems for IBM’s GSD Division. Dr. Fahmy converted and developed IBM’s IPICS/MAPICS into an online manufacturing system, which was licensed by IBM. Dr. Fahmy helped IBM sell and install several hundred of these ERP systems as well as train customers. This was the first online ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) application in the industry and it contributed over $16 Billion in revenue to IBM’s GSD Division and was subsequently translated to 16 different languages.

1970 - 1972: American Instruments of Baxter Travenol, Baltimore, MD - CIO Fahmy was the CIO responsible for all aspects of information systems at American Instruments. He implemented an ERP System for Manufacturing and Purchasing Departments. 1968 - 1970: Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Conshohocken, PA - Software Developer Fahmy developed and implemented a company-wide financial product information management system that was installed in 40 Goodyear Plants.
