Role: Senior Associate.

Methodology:

Map Geo referencing, and Geo tagging,POI (Points of Interest) for various World metros, Geo coding; Geo tagging:

Overlaying the map image in world imagery by using Arc-GIS software .

Identifying the map difficulty level, map coordinates, tagging country, basins and oil-gas fields by overlaying the provided shape files.

Identification of maps, figures, tables and classification of maps based on the guidelines provided in the project specifications.

5. Now as a Junior Research Fellow I am involved in SIS-DP project. It is a project on “Space Based Information Support For Decentralised Planning”, sponsored by NRSC, DOS, GoI, in West Bengal, India, Using RS & GIS Techniques at West Bengal State Council of Science & Technology, Bikash Bhavan, North Block, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700 091.

6. Having hands on experience on Land use land Cover &Hydrology Related thinks. ACHIEVEMENTES:

Delivered Speech as an Invited Lecturer on “22nd West Bengal State Science & Technology Congress-2015” in Section Geography, Earth Science & Environmental Science.
