Able to drive different types vehicles as well as automatic and standard transmissions

Knowledge using GPS and Maps.

Intake Staff

Greet customers to create a pleasant atmosphere and provide general assistance.

Identify and determine if clients are eligible to receive our services and assure that client has all of the necessary information to complete the return.

Monitor Site customer traffic and coordinate with the site manager to insure that there is sufficient time to serve the client

Have clients sign the Check-in log and monitor the list.

Provide the client with the Intake Sheet to complete, assist the client if needed and perform the screening process.

Review families and individuals eligibility for Tax Credit programs, the Federal Food Stamp Program and other benefits.

Determine the type of assistance needed by the client and direct clients to tax preparers and to other services provided at site according to the client needs.

Set up client’s folders..

Maintain the confidentiality of the client information.

Assist in other administrative duties, including file maintenance and answer phone calls.

EDUCATION:

1999 – 2005 University of the State of New York General Equivalency Diploma

SKILLS

Able to operate a fax, scanner, copier, and multi-line phone unit.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet research.

Posses strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Ability of fast learning.
