Brief Description of the project:

Guardian Life Insurance of America wanted to implement Financial Crime & Risk Management (FCRM) process across all business units to mitigate the risk of AML. An AML is a procedures, laws or regulations designed to stop the practice of generating money through illegal actions. Also, this process helps Guardian financial and legal to describe legal controls and other regulated entities to prevent, detect, and report Money laundering activities. The AML & OFAC business rules are setup in FCRM system, and the record that fail the business rule will get triggered and reported for manager review.

KYC/AML rules are imparted into different business units and implemented KYC policies into the Guardian systems.KYC policies incorporating the following four key elements:

Customer Policy;

Customer Identification Procedures;

Monitoring of Transactions; and

Risk management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Managed the test engineers and coordinate the testing activities with team members for Test execution, defect management, conducting daily test review status meetings, and help them understand the AML roles for different test rules. Lead the onsite/offshore teams by assigning modules, reviewing status calls every day, performance monitoring with the team and sending status report to business and project managers
