Previously the solution was built on Mainframe. Fixed Product Modernization project transform that application into web based application with rich web UI through Microsoft .NET technologies. The major functionalities include Add Participant/Contract for Group policies, Retirement/Termination, Death processing before/after retirement, Payments. MRF Redesign is also a part of Fixed Product Modernization which deals with the contract level functions.

FMCg provides the customers to make long distance call (ISD) at a much cheaper rate by routing the call through Verizon’s VoIP network.
Project Description
Verizon decided to provide more facilities to mobile users specially those who travel abroad very frequently. People like sales executives of MNCs are the primary customers of this product. While on international roaming customers had to pay a lot for their outgoing calls. The product FMCg (Fixed Mobile Convergence global) provides an option to the customers whether to call via their own GSM network or route the call via Verizon VoIP network which is very cheap compared to GSM calls on international roaming. It also provides the customers the various options like DND, Remote Office, Call Through, Call Back, Simultaneous Ringing, Block caller ID etc.
