Responsible for the receipt, packaging, shipments of approximately 28,000 metric tons of luminate cement from Pula Croatia.
-Received 7,000 metric tons of 5 different types of Luminates Cement quarterly arriving by barges through the Port of New Orleans.
- Packaging in the form of 94lbs. bags, Bulk Trucks, and Railcars being delivered regularly to points in Mexico and as far North as Canada.
Received additional duties starting in March of 2010 by managing a new start-up $4.5 million Activated-Carbon transfer facility on the same site.
-Responsible for the receipt of railcar shipments of 4 types of Activated Carbon to be transferred into 6 silos, each holding up to 561,000lbs.
-Directly responsible for shipping upwards of 1.2 Million lbs per week via bulk trucks.
-Transferred Carbon from storage Silos into load-out silos. From there into bulk trucks to be delivered to power plants in a four state area.
-1 lost time accident over 6 years through writing new SOP’s with the input through hourly employees while empowering the employees they have a “right to stop” if they feel safety is ever compromised.

Responsible for the complete control of a 400,000 sq. ft. Packaging/Distribution Center. Providing direction and control as a co-packer of Sodium and Calcium Phosphates as well as successfully initiating the start-up of drumming Phosphoric Acid for several fortunes 500 companies. Insured quality and safety were at the utmost priority for all employees by providing training and feedback session.

Directed nine production and maintenance supervisors in a facility of 300+ non-union employees. Developed annual budgets, scheduling, and maintained a safe environment on a 3 shift operation. Structured yearly profit improvements plans. Responsible for an 11 million annual budget.
-Achieved $3.4 million in profit improvement projection through increased efficiency and head-count reduction.
-Reduced scrap from 3.2% to 2.3% on a volume base of 40 million lbs. of dextrose through continuous process improvements which included weight control, improved dust collection and machine efficiency .
