Logging Geologist/Unit Manager Toledo Mud Logging May 2014- Dec. 2014 &Aug. 2015- Present
Responsible for management of logging unit. Worked with well site geologist to ensure targeted formations were drilled and completed to optimum levels. Communicated with oil company personnel on safety and drilling parameters. Trained logging personnel to ensure proper logging technique and formation evaluation. Completed daily reports to communicate target progress and evaluate possible corrections and improvements.
Completed 14 wells in the Powder River basin, 4 wells in the Permian basin and 6 in the North Park basin.

Performed Electrical resistivity surveys using Stinger Ground Resistivity equipment to map the extent of a known leachate plume in and abandoned landfill in Eastern Kentucky. Responsible for collection, testing and documenting all results related to the site investigation. Researched documentation from previous studies by the Kentucky Department of Solid Waste and various other available resources.
Constructed multiple 2D and 3D images of subsurface geological features focusing primarily on aquifers and potential pollution paths.
Prepared and presented all findings and wrote an accompanying report forwarded to the Kentucky Department of Solid Waste documenting all results of the investigation.
Performed laboratory testing on collected samples using the ICP-MS to measure levels of heavy metals present in the subsurface and local aquifers.
