Job summary:

Performed pre – processing, processing & post processing work required for conducting online exams includes feasibility study, network & infrastructure, implementation of required software, integration & testing, maintenance, configuration & trouble shooting during the course of examination, consolidation & uploading the answer sheets with systematic procedure.

Following are the exams in which I worked as operational executive for Coimbatore & Chennai zone. GATE (2014 & 2015), AIEEE-2014, AIMS-2014, CAT, JIPMER-2014, RBI-2014, IBPS-2014 & 2015, Bank exams (SBI-2014, IOB-2014, KVB-2014, TMB-2014).

Roles & Responsibilities:

Pre examination (Before exam)

Ø Obtain network credentials (IP address, Subnet mask, DNS Gateway) from LISP System Administrator and configure the system for network access.

Ø Create an user account for the entity in TCM application / portal.

Ø Configure / troubleshoot the entity's PCs / Laptops.

Ø Launch the 'IOAP' tool by authenticating through the network credentials obtained.

Ø Test the network bandwidth and system status using 'IOAP' tool.

Ø Monitor network bandwidth and status using 'Network Utility' tool.

Ø Upload the reports gathered in pre examination to TCM portal.

During examination:

Ø Use the entity's user credential to access TCS 'AEC' tool.

Ø Download the question paper.

Ø Use the 'IOAP' tool launcher to replicate / push the question paper across all the systems.

Ø Use 'Project Tracker' to monitor the number of candidates launched

Ø Liaise with TCS technical support team if the number of candidates launched does not match with the number of candidates allocated.

Ø If additional candidates (personnel who are supposed to give the exam at another center) turn up at the center then verify the call letter and ID proof and:

§ Communicate with TCS Central Command Center to conduct exam for the candidate at the current center.

Ø Perform below mentioned procedures to manage IT systems related incidents during the examination process

§ Analyze the incident / problem noted, prioritize and resolve.

§ Escalation of incident / problem to TCS command Center if unable to resolve locally.

§ Resolve the incident / problem based on the solution developed.

§ Perform root cause analysis and document corrective and preventive action.

§ Provide knowledge sharing training to junior Operation Executives on the incident noted and lessons learned.

Post – Examination (After exams):

Ø Consolidate the exam results of all the candidates using 'AEC' tool.

Ø Upload the consolidated exam results to TCM application / portal.
