First Article inspection of precision machined parts and prototypes which included writing software for CMM for production as well as generate reports, PC, DIMIS, and all hand tools as needed or required.

03/11 to 5/13

CMM Operator/Programmer; Means Engineering.

Inspection of prototype, precision machined parts using CMM/Open DIMIS software. This involved writing programs for repeat jobs, work with the engineering department for evaluation, verification of acceptance/rejection. First Article inspection and documentation of all prototype products.

Received inspection of manufactured parts, programs and ran CMM using DIMIS software. This included working with engineering to assure quality products are produced to customer’s specifications and verifying all documentation is compliant to purchase orders.

First Article inspection of precision machined parts, as well as write programs for CMM for 1st article parts to be used for production run parts. I ran CMM using P.C. and GEOPAK software as well as kept daily logs of inspection results per purchase orders and customer requirements.

Precision Mechanical inspection of Ceramic Exotic Materials used for armor, keeping track of all powder lot, billet numbers using Excell worksheets for customer approval. This involved in house calibration of all hand tools, scales, pressure gauges, with small adjustments having to be made. Complete history of all calibration in house/outside calibrations performed on scales and special gauges were kept on a daily calibration sheet.
