DESIGN WORK
Team Lead - Cu-GFRP Wire Development 10/2015 - 6/2016
I designed two different electroplating apparatuses and a set of custom forming rolls to fabricate a rectangular composite copper/carbon fiber wire for the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory at Los Alamos National Labs in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Wheelchair Curb Climber – Rehab Engineering 10/2014
I devised the idea and built the prototype for a lever mechanism that aids a manual wheelchair user in maneuvering onto a curb where a cutout is unavailable. I designed all of the parts and assemblies and studied the kinematics involved using Solidworks 2014.
