Rising Tree Wind Farm – 230kV Transmission Line – Developing PLS CADD model for proposed 230kV transmission line wind farm to SCE substation located in Kern County, California. Engaging to design transmission line, clearance, right of way, structural loading, foundation design, hardware selection, associated bill of materials and construction drawing package.
Preparing preliminary design and calculation for bidding couple nos of Transmission Line Projects. MOD Power Black Tip, Anadarko, Fowler Ridge IV are the upcoming projects for Design.
Besides transmission line projects, involved to support in design, analysis and upgrade foundation stuffs for Entergy’s substation and switch yard.

Transmission Line Engineer (Civil/Structural)
Florida Power, Grand River Dam Authority, Pepco Holding, American Transmission Company, Florida Public Utility, Duke/Progress Energy – Create PLS-CADD model from LiDAR surver of existing transmission line and structures to perform clearance issues based on client requirement. Prepare & develop line routing, structure selection, plan and profile drawings, hardware and conductor selection, bills of materials.
Gained experience on projects ranging from 69kV to 345kV. Experience in the design and modification of lattic tower, steel poles, wood poles, drilled pier and direct embed foundation. Responsible for all facets of transmission line design including structure loading and foundation design.
Gained experience on joint use structure for tower antenna and communication cable developing lite model. Examine health adequacy of existing wooden poles using D-Calc for woodpeckers issues.
Develop structural loading for substation equipment and physical design of rigid bus. Analysis of existing slab and pile foundation, design upgrade of substation and switchward.

Developing the ice load model for large and extra large arc formed agriculture structure, its physical model develop, structure strength analysis using RISA 2D. Assisting to generate specification and product catalog.
