Wrote the yearly budget ( for The River Inn and Templins) with the General Managers and forecasted throughout the year. Responsible for keeping proper financials controls and insuring procedures were followed. Issued and audited all banks, monitored and processed payroll through ADP, approved or denied Purchases, oversaw and monitored inventories and oversaw the A/R and A/P departments. Prepared month end accruals and completed close. Over the years I have successfully filled in for the General Manager, Human Resources and Restaurant Manager. (Systems used - Great Plains, EPM, Opera, Squirrel, Watson, Birch and UltiPro.)

Set up and maintained the computer systems we used. Hired local personal, controlled payroll and expenses, set up and maintained local banking operations.
Prepared daily and end of show financial sheets. Controlled and maintained all outlets, remote and in house sales, made all cash and credit card deposits. Staffed and managed phone rooms and security. Dealt one on one with all customer issues.
I left after training replacements to get off the road after fourteen years of constant traveling. I wanted to live in my own house and get back in touch with family on a daily basis.
The last school attended was Nassau Community College, Hempstead, NY
I was English major. I was also very involved in the community soccer program. A Professional Indoor Team (The NY ARROWS) recruited me for their box office. I left college to work for them. Went on to work at the Nassau Coliseum for the Islanders and then the building management. I was then recruited to work for the National Soccer Team in Washington, DC which is how I ended up involved with Ringling Brothers and never did get back to campus.
