Project Description
The Aetna-CVS Caremark Execution (ACE) Program contains the IT initiatives that will implement the necessary systems and functionalities required to support the strategic relationship between Aetna and CVS Caremark. These include a new application like Aetna Integrator(AI), Data stage(DS),PSBOR(Plan Sponsor Book of records) and Pharmacy Book of Record (RxBOR) real time data integration with the CVS Caremark (eligibility, claim, accumulators, benefits, prior authorizations, pre-certifications, etc.), downstream feeds to the enterprise, and financial reporting.
In order to receive the services from CVS Caremark, Aetna is intended to share the Pharmacy Plan/Benefits and membership information that are currently available in Aetna to CVS Caremark.

Project Description:

Project Description:
In Aetna Pharmacy, APMCAS is the major system which handles the demographic, benefit, client and plan details of the group and member who are having pharmacy benefits. This APMCAS system is used for claim processing. Once the claims are processed in APMCAS the invoice and rebate details of the claims are sent to the VDA/VDS system which allocates a percentage rebate share to the plan sponsors.
