FINDING SHORTEST PATH GIS:

The focus of this study has been to review, explain and show an a example of how a road network analysis can be done using GIS tool and to decide better road network or shortest path.

The implementation process outline in this project can be used to study other area of city and transportation department with the knowledge and foundation to develop their own GIS.

Affordable roofing system with spherical dome

Affordable roofing is a term used to describe dwelling units whose costs are deemed “affordable” to a group of people within a specified income range. Structural floors/roofs account for substantial cost of building in normal situation. The analytical study is by Finite Element Method using STAADPRO software. For panels with least dimension of 0.5m and 0.75m and aspect ratio 1 . The weights of panels and joists being lighter could easily be handled by two masons and cost of labour can be reduced. Domed structure for the ceiling gives good aesthetic appearance and requires no false roofing works. The time period for constructing roofing system proposed requires a relatively lesser time than the conventional RC slab.

Participated in Deminor on SPECIAL CONCRETE AND A RMC at nimans convention centre, Bangalore.
