VMware vSphere architecture, implementation and support for commercial and government clients utilizing best practices for availability, reliability, and performance of compute, network, and storage resources to achieve dense virtualization ratios while maintaining SLAs and surpassing disaster recovery RTO/RPO’s. Specific tasks include:

•Identity & Access Management and lead direction for SSO for Office 365 and internal login. Lead Active Directory migration from 2003 functional level to 2008R2. After XP was migrated to Windows 7, raised the functional level to 2012. Cleaned stale objects and populated AD data with clean data (Usernames and email) in preparation for Office 365 migration for a Fortune 500 company.

•SCCM migrations from Win 7 to Win 10 on site for Flowers Foods. Approximately 250 migrations over a 3 day weekend.

•Upgraded VMWARE 4.1 to VMWARE 6. Implemented vRealize and vCloud suite for a Fortune 500 company.

•Lead Systems team and Project management responsibilities in desktop migration and transformation to Citrix and VDI solutions. Led West Georgia Health’s team and Illuminate360 contractors in the migration of 1250+ Desktop from Windows XP to Win 7 using Microsoft SCCM. Helped in creating the image and procedures in migration process. Also, championed the process of transforming 500+ current XP desktops and transforming them on WYSE hardware, Citrix Receiver, Hyper-V, and VMware VDI platform.

•Implement Citrix Rollup Pack and Feature packs as per Citrix recommendation.

Trouble-shoot various issues related to Citrix resource manager, Printers etc.

Monitored Citrix server’s health by using Citrix Edgesight.

Developed Virtual apps for in-house client server applications through Citrix Streaming profiler 6.5/6.0/5.2.

•Remote design, implementation and administration of multiple Citrix farms including Presentation Server 4.0 and 4.5, XenApp 6.0 and 6.5. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Production, QA and Development environments utilizing tools such as AppSense, EdgeSight and performance monitoring software. •Using AppZero PACE for Automated Multi-server Discovery across W. Ga Health's Network while leveraging AppZero Features to Reduce Migration Effort.

•Worked with IS team and Illuminte360 team with migrating all Advanced Multi-tier Application(IIS + SQL) with AppZero. Meditech Software and various Hospital Dependent packages including legacy applications.

•Identifying Application Dependencies and Preparing the Target Server and Migrating the Application Components (IIS and SQL)

Premiere Logic (Sep 2011 thru March 2012) –

I consulted with Managing Partner and obtained additional requirements from various staff. I recommended building a Private cloud, obtaining Compellent SAN, and VMware Software.

Worked directly with CTO and CEO (managing Partners) strategizing the move of their infrastructure to a pure Virtual

Environment. Proceeded to analyze Legacy Applications/Servers and converted as needed. I then proceeded to take the Physical machines and P2V them to the virtual environment after the vSphere and vCenter with SAN backend implementation was complete.

Implemented vCD 5.1 (upgraded from 1.5) for resource Pool provisioning in a SaaS environment.

Illuminate360 (various Projects 2012-2013) –

•Led the project for Illuminate360 and West GA Health in the transformation and migration of over 1200 desktops. Migration from XP to Win7 and also some into a VDI environment.

•Set Up Profiles to curb Bandwidth ‘hogs’ on the Network (streaming Radio/MP3, Facebook Gaming, and various non-essentials) that were taking bandwidth from needed resources.

•Created Clustered SQL Servers for clients and relieved slow/LAg issues with co-lo server.

•Implemented VLAN structure for Main Campus

While Consulting and Network Manager for the City of Griffin, I architected, implemented and maintained a 150+server, 100% virtualized environment supporting Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Active Directory, and a mixed Microsoft and Adobe development environment. Ensure the stable operation of the City of Griffin computer network. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•Working with Northrop/Grumman in Baltimore on designing a country wide Emergency Response system for a country in Africa. This project is projected over 20 billion dollars and includes our suite of products on many cluster DELL PowerEdge, HP ProLiant servers. Our database is also clustered on a DELL SAN (Storage Area Network) with replication throughout the network to many subscribers of our data.

•Northrop/Grumman project provided SQL Server database design and implementation plan related to the size and usage characteristics related to requirements defined for the Country of Algeria’s needs

•Design database model for 20TB for Northrop’s database that included normalization, table design, security design and indexing based on clients’ needs
